Necessary Evil Stuff

Please read TIPS FOR PACE OF PLAY

GUEST POLICY - Guest of any ASGA outing may play (1) one time. Then they are required to join ASGA before playing another outing.

If you cancel after the signup deadline, you may have to still pay for the round.  This will happen if there is no one from a waiting list that can replace you and you were unable to find a replacement and the course holds us to our committed headcount.

If you signup but don't show up to play, you may have to pay for the round.  Again this is if the course makes ASGA pay for you.

Pairings will be done the week prior to the outing and you will notified by the coordinator of your time and partners.  If you have a special request, such as, being in one of the early times, inform the coordinator when you sign up.  Once pairings are distributed they will be final.  Again any specific requests should be given to the coordinator when you signup or before the signup deadline. The coordinator will do everything possible to accommodate requests made to the above guidelines.

Everyone needs to be at the course at least a 45 minutes prior to your specific tee time.  This will allow for check in time and golf preparation.  If you are late for your tee time, your partners will start playing and you'll have to join them on the course.

Everyone needs to be conscious of where their group is in respect to the group in front of (not behind) them.   We all know what "keep pace means".  Also, if a ranger asks you to speed up and you do not, you may be asked to leave the course. Remember slow play can really take the enjoyment out of the game.

Most outings will have an after golf dinner.  If you signup to go to the dinner, please do so, unless you have provided sufficient notification.  The coordinators have usually made a reservation and it isn't fair to them to try to explain why some percentage of those committing didn't show up.

Also, rain checks are the purview of the golf course, not ASGA. If you've got weather-related questions, call the course, not your coordinator.
